GroSoxx are vegetated soft blocks used for stabilization, restoration, post construction and low impact development applications. Common applications include bank stabilization which addresses streambank and shoreline stabilization, vegetated retaining walls, channel protection to name a few. The DuraSoxx mesh is a photodegradable multi-filament polypropylene with 1/8″ mesh openings with permanent longevity if vegetated. It is specifically developed to withstand high flow velocities and shear stress. It comes palletized in 8″ and 12” size and lengths of 2′-10′ depending on your project.
The GrowingMedia is a high quality, high nutrient leaf waste compost that allows the media to be seeded with most varieties and plugged if desired.
GroSoxx technology provides structural protection, erosion control and vegetation all in one system. GroSoxx can be wrapped in geogrid for greater connectivity to the bank and added resistance to sheer stress.
